About ToolsVault

ToolsVault is a collection of browser-based tools for inspecting data, working with text and images, and making everyday calculations. Built-in tools can be used without an account. Some directory entries lead to external services; those services have their own behavior and privacy policies.

How the built-in tools work

The built-in editors, image processors, converters, and calculators process the content you enter in your browser. Loading the website still involves network requests for the site itself and any configured analytics or advertising resources. Local content processing does not mean the entire website runs without network activity.

Each tool's guide describes its inputs, outputs, supported formats, and important limits. For example, an image encoder does not automatically compress an image, and a fixed-rate calculator cannot predict future rates. Read those assumptions before using a result in another system.

Implementation and checking

ToolsVault is maintained as a web application. Changes are checked using known input/output examples, automated tests for selected parsing and calculation logic, and browser checks of relevant interactions. These checks cover specific cases; they do not establish that every possible file or expression has been verified.

The guides link to reference material where a unit definition or external explanation helps readers check the method. ToolsVault is not affiliated with the organizations cited, and a reference does not imply their endorsement.

Report a problem or suggest an improvement

Use feedback by email. Include the tool URL, language, browser, reproduction steps, and the expected and actual result. A small, non-sensitive example is usually more useful than an entire private document.

Do not send passwords, personal records, or confidential source files. You can describe the structure of an input or replace its contents with sample data. Feedback is a separate communication from using a local tool; anything sent by email leaves your browser.

Privacy and terms

Read the privacy policy and terms of service for the site's policies. Return to the tool directory to choose a workflow. Preserve important originals and check a generated result in its destination before relying on it.
